PERNERA & PARALIMNI
Pernera is the closest place to find restaurants, shops and beaches.

You could also check out Paralimni Old town – if you have a sweet tooth, try bon bon crepes and have a wander round the 3 churches. (the map adds the churches and crepe place to for you)
Closest bank and ATM
There are lots of ATM’s around pernera. For exchanging money – Nicks bottle shop has a good exchange rate.

About the beaches
There are lots and lots of small bays and sandy beaches in the areas close to you, i have tried to highlight a few of our favourite that we visit a lot during summer, but if you would like something specific just message me and i will make some more suggestions. If i had to pick a few it would be Vrysoudion, Konnos Beach and Sirena bay. 🙂
Golden Coast Beach
Golden coast beach is another popular beach, it has a small harbour and traditional church, a horse shoe shape beach with restaurants overlooking it and there is also water sports, lifeguard and sun bed facilities. https://goo.gl/maps/9DcknDgg2u12
Fig Tree Bay & Protaras
Fig Tree bay is a famous and more popular beach, it stretches the length of Protaras and all the beaches are linked with a walkway, there are lots of restaurants, kiosks, bars and shops. On the beaches are water sports, sun bed hire and lifeguards on duty.

Nissi Beach
Nissi beach is not such a family beach although you will see lots of children there. It is well known for being vibrant and loud and is a beach lined with small bars and music, foam parties and events. https://goo.gl/maps/Tt1hkqQCeGT2
Vrysoudion
Vrysoudion beach is one of my favourite beaches, it is only a smaller bay but has lots of flowers and greenery around it. I find it really peaceful and relaxing. There is a restaurant there called Aggelios and a car park and there is a beach bar which sell drinks / snacks. The beach bar area also has sunbeds and seating areas (grass area) that you can hire if you didn’t want to go on to the beach.

Firemans Beach
Firemans beach is the closest beach to you and is set down a little, it has a small kiosk at the top and parking area and sun-beds / umbrellas are available for hire.

Sirena Bay
Sirena bay is on our top beaches, it has a beautiful cafe / restaurant there and a small sandy beach not so well known with tourists. It is best to avoid this beach on weekends as it is very busy with locals. A great little hidden treasure.

Konnos Beach
This is my second favourite beach, it is set down in a nature reserve of Konnos. It is a great beach, offers a kiosk for drinks and snacks, life guard, water sports and sun bed hire. The beach is very busy on weekends but well worth a visit. If you are visiting this beach in Cape Greco – make sure you stop for a drink overlooking the bay in the Grecian Park (Cliff Bar) – its a little pricey but lovely and also make a few sight seeing stops at the Sea Caves, church and lovers bridge. If you have a little time to spare check out the open air sculpture park. (free entrance)
